From our mutual connections to our founding location in Fukui Prefecture, Echizen City, we have designed this product in collaboration with the students of Takefu Commercial and Technical High School, with inspiration from Lady Murasaki Shikibu. Using motifs of "The Tale of Genji", "romantic affairs", "long hair", "wisteria flowers", and "Chinese bellflower (kikyou)", these brilliant minds have envisioned Murasaki Shikibu herself from a thousand years past, beneath slivers of moonlight through shoji paper doors, weaving stories of love affairs into The Tale of Genji.
The final result is a shirt patterned in otherworldly silhouettes from a moonlit shoji door.
It is available in 4 sizes and pairs well with pants just as well as skirts, allowing it to be enjoyed by anyone of all gender expressions.
