DESCRIPTION
Tracing the coexistence of cultures and traditions involving onmyoji — a recombination of the divination garments into a modern form.
Onto the base silhouette of a traditional hakama, we've incorporated pockets and cords derived from cargo pants — along with the traditional Japanese pattern as side lines, this is a design that meshes together elements of both Japanese and Western.
Evoking the appearance of the onmyoji's work clothes (kariginu), these pants stand in keeping with the spirit of a work wardrobe.
The mandala pattern unites elements from various traditional cultures, using a myriad of harmonious colors, in a faithful tribute to the unique history of onmyoji.
