DESCRIPTION
Unbound by gender,
transcending all genres,
a novel worldview comes alive.
This design was inspired by the jinbaori, the cold-protective gear worn over the armors of Sengoku era warlords.
The shoulder lines are kept wide and sharp, while the extra fabric around the collar adds drape and volume.
This gown design with generous drape is a revived prototype from classical times, with Western design elements added into the mix.
As for the fabric's features, it's textured like the characteristic brushstroke-like striped look of kasuri woven cloth.
We've made the deliberate choice to use materials that represent the modern days alongside elements from historic eras.
