DESCRIPTION
Unbound by gender,
transcending all genres,
a novel worldview comes alive.
The base fabric is a crepe-like fabric with a smooth, draped feel.
Decorating here and there are textured fabric with patterns printed over.
This arrangement of traditional motifs — folding fans and the Korin-style three cranes crest — is reimagined in the style of AXES-X, as a small crest pattern with striking colors of modern days.
We added slits under the armpits inspired by yatsuguchi to increase breathability.
While yatsuguchi is usually seen only on women and kids' kimono, we intentionally incorporated this detail in the spirit of AXES-X's "unbound by gender" concept.
