Kongou Rikishi, also known as Niō, stand in opposition guarding the front gate of Buddhist temples.
Printed on the Japanese sleeves, the two guardian deities command an overwhelming presence.
The collar and cuffs come in accent colors, adding a high-fashion atmosphere.
The open-mouthed Agyō unleashes its fury in red; the Ungyō, biting back its wrath, is expressed in purple.
The main fabric is a jacquard with a traditional Japanese pattern, reminiscent of painted ceilings seen in temples.
When struck by light from different angles, a completely distinct expression arises.
